Power Plant Strain Product Review

The Dutch, Amsterdam-based ‘Passion Seeds Company’ first brought Power Plant strain to the cannabis world over two decades ago in 1997 when they successfully bred South African Sativa strains. Since this time, Power Plant strain has achieved critical acclaim, winning first place in the Prairie Harvest Medicinal Cannabis Cup of Canada in 2016.

Popular in Amsterdam’s coffee shops, Power Plant delivers a unique high characterized by feelings of happiness and relaxation. Its pungent, earthy aromas are very recognizable, and its spicy flavors are sharp.

Recreational and medicinal users love this strain, with the latter group praising Power Plant strain for its stress-relieving properties. With THC levels around 15-20% and CBD levels as high as 2%, it is small wonder that this strain receives much praise from medicinal cannabis enthusiasts.

Power Plant strain is highly resistant to disease and pests, features that make it an easy strain to grow for cultivators of all skill levels. Indoor yields of 17 to 21 ounces per square meter are achievable for anyone with a little patience and diligence when it comes to growing cannabis. Yields of around 21 to 35 ounces per Power Plant are attainable for the outdoor grower in Mediterranean-style climates.
