hOmeLabs Dehumidifier Product Review

The hOmeLabs dehumidifier, measuring at 15.4″ x 11″ x 24.3″ it’s ideal for any mid-large size grow rooms, covering a massive 4500 SQ FT…Make no mistake about it, this is a large but surprisingly compact and sleek looking dehumidifier.

This particular hOmeLabs model removes up to 70 pints of moisture from the air per day, which is approximately 9 gallons worth, that’s an impressive amount even if we do say so ourselves.

As with most dehumidifiers, the controls are positioned to the top of the unit in the hOmeLabs model. They’re easy enough to use, but for a model this big the LCD display and buttons could be a little bigger.

The hOmeLabs dehumidifier comes with a simple array of options, such as auto shut-off, defrost, restart, and turbo mode. With in-built wheels and handholds to the sides, portability is relatively easy.

As well as the above a 24hr timer, easy to clean filter and manual drain access is also included. Emptying the collected moisture comes in the form of the 1.6 gallon (6 liter) water tank that is located to the bottom of the device.

hOmeLabs dehumidifiers are quite reasonably priced compared to others, for the smaller 6-gallon dehumidifier you can generally find it for around the $160 range, the bigger 9-gallon model is superbly priced starting around the $190 range, let’s be honest, for a dehumidifier that big you can’t really grumble at that price.

Some of the most common complaints of the hOmeLabs dehumidifier come from the water tank being relatively small compared to the size of the unit, overly loud running noises and cost.

But, if any problems do occur with the hOmeLabs dehumidifier, there’s no need to panic as most models come with a 2-year warranty and further 6 months if you sign up online through their website.
