HLG 65 V2 4000K Quantum Board LED Grow Light Product Review

When it comes to grow lights, most experienced growers have heard or read of HLG (Horticulture Lighting Group) at some point.

They offer full-spectrum LED lights for all stages of plant growth at exceptional prices.

Nearly all of the HLG grow light models score highly with cultivators, there are very few unsatisfied customers.

With great build quality, established reputation, and starting from some excellent price points, you’d have to be a fool not to consider HLG when in the market for a new grow light.

The HLG 65 V2 4000K Quantum Board LED Grow Light is a great little light designed for all stages of growth. The HLG 65 V2 4000K uses custom-designed High-efficiency white light Quantum Boards that can produce some good results when used correctly.

With a total of 120 pcs Samsung LM301B LED’s, the HLG 65 V2 4000K Quantum Board LED Grow Light produces 10,000 Lumens with just 65 Watts of power which is not to bad for the price. Equivalent to 150W T5 or 200W CFL output or 150W metal halide.

For more than 2-3 plants you would probably need to buy more than one of these lights, so if you’re on a budget keep this in mind. The HLG 65 V2 4000K Quantum Board LED Grow Light is probably best for small grows.

The HLG 65 V2 4000K Quantum Board LED Grow Light is a good little grow light at a reasonable price, highly rated, you can do worse than opting for any light made by HLG. Not the best for more than 2 plants, but great if you only have room for a small grow setup. Other than a few defective models, the HLG 65 V2 4000K is worth a try.
