Blazer GB2001 Self-Igniting Butane Micro-Torch Product Review
The Blazer GB2001 Self-Igniting Butane Micro-Torch is a time-tested micro gas torch that creates a precise flame from the nozzle head, allowing direct heat application to the quartz.
The GB2001 has a diamond-shaped rubber outer body finish for ease of use and a safe grip.
The gas flow adjustment lever allows for ease of flame heat and precision change. Plus, the torch flame is adjustable from yellow to the more precise and hot blue flame.
The GB2001 includes an attachable, tabletop stands for hands-free flames. It provides a long burn time compared to other micro torches.
This torch’s piezoelectric ignition system is based on a pressurized molecular reaction and requires no electric connection.
The piezoelectric energy occurs when the trigger is activated by releasing a small, spring-loaded internal hammer. The hammer strikes a crystal that produces a spark that results in a gas flame ignition.
For a softer, cooler flame, turn the airflow dial located on the torch nozzle stem. This provides a variable softer flame for when the 2500F flame is not required.
